Electric shock treatment ???

I was wondering , has any one here been offered electric shock treatment ?? Or any one had it & have any experience that they would share???

No. It's not indicated for anxiety at all.
I think for treatment resistant bipolar depression or serious depression it might be tried as a last ditch effort but they sedate you for it. My Dad was bipolar and it was thought about before he began to respond to some other meds to get him out of a bad phase. It's not as bad as many think....so they told us Alankay.

I have never been offered it , though I know it's available in some cases . I just wondered if anyone had any success with it .

I was thinking for long term chronic depression , where Ad's have not worked very well ?
