Anyone takin Trazadone?

Hi everyone,
Is anyone out there taking Trazadone for their anxiety? If so how are u finding it? I'm currently on 250mg. Although I feel ok I still get anxiety and depressed just not as bad. Was wondering if I'd feel like this anyway even if I wasn't taking them as I can't even have a social drink with them ( which I used to enjoy with my friends) so I'm pretty much staying in etc. I need a social life. Advice greatly received :)

Are you seeing a therapist/psych? Although meds help they tend not to "cure" the condition unless they are used along with talking therapies.

Yes I have been doing CBT for around a year now and have also done a 10 week anxiety management course. Was just wondering if trazadone is really helping or if I would be ok med free.

That med is fine but did an SSRI and/or SNRI not help? Alankay

I tried a few in the beginning, Prozac, citalopram, venliflaxin but nothing helped and the side effects were worse than the anxiety. I feel I need to change as I'm not sure if the trazadone is really helping now. I found I couldn't sleep on the others though :(
