Zoloft

Hey Everyone
New to the site.
I was just prescribed 25mg the first week then
50mg Zoloft for my anxiety and
I was wondering how other people felt about Zoloft.
Any side effects or anything.
I've never been on any medication until now.

If you have health anxiety, or tend to freak out over small details, don't look into side effects and such because you will start imagining things.

SSRI's can cause slight side effects for the first few days, maybe week of getting on. But they go away quickly, and kick in a few weeks later.

The fact that you are starting at 25mg then going to 50mg is very good- slow and steady so your body can get used to it.

Try taking it before you go to bed to avoid side effects, if there are any.

I was on it and liked it but it gave me the munchies(you may not get that at all). FYI: It's the most prescribed ssri in the US. On prozac now. Alankay
