Just joined in! I had a big wish to talk to other people with the same issues.
Tired to run in circles and look for self remedies, I have anxiety and depression symptoms since 5th grade probably.
Tried counseling w/rebirthing for a few months, found relief but now back at the start. Looking for other solutions and how you people deal with it

Big hugs to everyone here (though I would be too shy to actually hug you as I am reticent to physical contact with people I'm not yet close to ,lol)

I feel ya! I've had it since about 3 years ago , never was that bad until now. It's horrible. I wish I had a way to cope also.

Hey,

I'm new too, I thought it would be helpful to talk to people who actually knew what it feels like!!!! I had to tell my boss at work this morning and cried!! So embarrassed! Oh well it did kinda make me feel better though! xxx

Hey guys, I've been doing lots of reading and experimenting with many things in attempts to settle my anxiety. So far, drinking chamomile tea (3xday), taking vitamin B complex and exercising on a regular basis has helped me. During the day, I'm able to control and keep my anxiety down. At night, well, that's still a work in progress =(

Have you guys tried reading Dr, Claire Weekes' book, Hope and Help for Your Nerves? It helped me understand anxiety more and what the triggers it.

It has affected my exercise the last two weeks, I've not wanted to cycle to work, go to the gym or skate and thats not like me! I went back to the gym yesterday after two weeks and it felt good! Part of the problem was me being sooooo tired and the other was increased heart beat! Ofc it's increased its exercise but it made me feel more panicy!!! Urgh!

I've been trying breathing differently and I bought some rescue remedy, even if it has a placebo effect, thats good for me! I am feeling better this week :o) and I've got CBT starting on the 12th June.

Thanks for the info about the book. I'll amazon it and see if I can find it.

I'm also 'doing' the Vitamin B, exercising with the hound (that has never really changed). Started walking at lunchtime for 30mins, cannot really say if it is doing anything.

It's just so darn up in the air. One minute i'm racing around like richard simmons the next ready to kill myself. fun it ain't.
