Has anyone else experienced this???

I'm a 17 year old femal suffer anxiety and panic attacks despite being on anti anxiety medication I'm still experiencing panic attacks!! During my panic attacks I see a big black spot in the middle of my vision I go super dizy my heart races and I feel as if my body isn't my own and then I get numbness in my hand that travels to my face and throat!! Is this normal?? Has anyone else experienced this before :)

Are you only an ssri med, low dose benzo or both? Alankay

You may need to have that raised slowly(to 50mg or more) and temporarily add a long acting benzo(Valium, klonopin, clorazepate) to keep anxiety down as initialy the ssri can increase anxiety but that'll go away after a week or so. Then drop/taper off the benzo. Alankay

I have & I'm also a 17 year old girl. & I'm also taking setraline so if you want someone to talk to you can talk to me:)

Those are all totally normal symptoms of a panic attack. I have gotten all of those,usually all at the same time. Is the setraline an anti depressant? My doctor was wanting to put me on that too. Have you noticed any improvements yet?
