Hi everyone,
Is anyone else out there suffering with intrusive thoughts? I feel as though I'm going mad and they are making me depressed. They started when my son was around 3 Mnths old, kept thinking I'd drop him, hurt him or someone else would hurt him. I have 3 children and never had this with my first two. It has ruined my baby time with him ( he's now 19 Mnths) and I now feel disconnected from him all the time. Has anyone else experienced this?? :(

Hey,
I was extremely anxious when I was pregnant although I didn't realise that's what is was until now, but that was me and everyone is different and just because you are anxious now it doesn't mean u'll go the same way. You sound as though you are anxious about being anxious? It's a horrible thing to have when ur pregnant but atleast you are aware that's what is wrong. Hormoans can play a big part in your anxiety. Is this your first baby? If so it's totally natural to feel anxious about the birth. Xx

I know where you're coming from, I couldn't watch anything on tv that showed a woman in labor as it made me very anxious. I used to cry thinking about giving birth when I had no probs with my other two infact I thought it was really ok. U sound just like me so it must be more common than u think?? :) x
