Generalized anxiety treated with Zoloft

Hi to everyone. I got Zoloft 50 mg to help my anxiety. Now it is a third day and I must say I am more anxious than before. The doctor says it takes at least 3 weeks to work. Has anyone an experience with this medication? Do antidepressants help at all?

hiya. i am currently on zoloft.
it has helped me alot. especially with my health anxiety - that seems to have gone.
although at times, i do still get it - it is alot easier to manage. something that used to bother me for weeks upon weeks, i can get out of my head within a day, sometimes a matter or hours.

starting on antidepressants, they can make you feel worse than what you did before you started - it is one of it's side effects.
i had the opposite with zoloft. i felt like i improved dramatically after 1 day...

When I tried Zoloft it made me nervous initially.
