Hi Fisher
I have the same issue. In fact it's happening now, that is why I logged into here. Reading the threads calms me down. I get palpitations/chest pain, which sends me into a frenzy of panic, my heart beats faster, then I get dizzy, hot etc... I try deep breathing, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

It's vital to understand of itself the higher heartbeat nothing. It's yet another symptom of anxiety resulting from the increased andrealine. It all stems from worry, tension and fear. Be thankful it keeps beating so be it a touch faster when you're anxious. Dont' stop ticker!!!! :( Alankay.

My heart used to beat so fast and I suffered palpitations. It's such a horrible and scary feeling. My doctor put me on beta-blockers (propranolol) to help control it and ever since day one of taking them I have not had any scary heart symptoms. My heart now beats at a normal rate even when I am anxious. I think if you can't manage to control your heart with relaxation methods etc then beta blockers could really help x

thanks for that but the only reason i am scared of goin on beta blockers is it lowers your bp and mine is low anyway, but if my anxiety is based around my heart beating palpitations that is the only solution i think x
