I am feeling much better as I have limited Pepsi intake to three bottles a week. I went to a famiky party and drank 6 cans of soda. I was a nervious and couldn't sleep. I couldn't make a decision about going to Church or grocery store.
I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON AND WILL CUT OUT COMPLETELY! After 48 hours I feel like my old self and am much calmer.

I was a coffee addict before my first panic attack. Haven't had it in 6 weeks! Hoping to introduce a tiny bit back into my life as things start to get better.

You can have some coffee. If you do just be aware of how it might effect you. During stressful times I lay off. "Normal times" I have some coffee(1 cup) in the AM and have no issues with anxiety from that. Also, I use instant coffee as fresh drip is way higher in caffeine. Instant has about 1/2 the caffeine. I have recently gone caffeine free. I'm all about hot chocolate, decaf tea and caffeine free diet coke and sprite zero.
It has made a HUGE difference to my anxiety levels. I used to have a tall flat white for breakfast and up to a litre of diet coke per day and I was basically setting myself up for anxiety and panic attacks.
I highly recommend this. I'm also saving about $10 a day on beverages!

I'm interested in trying a caffeine-free diet, but the thing is, I'm narcoleptic and need the caffeine to stay awake. I'm allergic to the only available narcolepsy medicines. Grrr.
