Hi my gf suffers from anxiety and has a lot of dizzyness, so does anyone know any good meds or anyway to get rid of the dizziness and subdue it. Thank you.

I'd see a doc about starting an ssri slowly(like zoloft). I'd start at 25mg/day for a week or two and then go to 50mg/day. She might need to ultimately go higher but that should help her anxiety and the slow start should help reduce side effects. If she's sensitive to ssri's go with 12.5mg/day for a week, the 25mg/day for another week and so on.
Depending on her anxiety she may benefit from a talk with a counselor. If she's having panic she might need a benzo while she starts the ssri to get an immediate reduction in anxiety until the ssri kicks in.
She shoud also limit caffeine and alcohol for now.
If her anxiety if more generalize Buspar might be tried.
For now she could take some over the counter antihistamines(diphenhydramine) as they help with anxiety. Valarian Root may also help her. PM me any time. Alankay

Thanks man she is going to see a threapist and does have some over the counter med buts its a sleep aid that supposed to help she is just scared to take them
