Hello everyone,

I believe I am holding a lot of tension in lately, and I'm looking to get it out. I can feel my muscles tense up when I begin to have anxiety and it is the worst in my neck and shoulders. My doc put my on a muscle relaxer but it wasn't doing anything and I'm off. I would go and work out or run but I am still trying to get over my fear of a rapid beating heart, therefore it's hard for me to go work out and let all my tension out. I have been getting massages that seem to help a little andf I try to stretch all the time but does anyone have any other tips hints or suggestions to help with tension? Thanks and positive energy to all...

i find yoga is good for tension. it's a combo of stretching, strengthening and breathing all in one!
