Chest hurts and im so scared.

Two days ago i had a dull pain on the left side of my chest and it all of a sudden it felt like someone was crushing it and then nothing! Last night after going out for a few drinks i got into bed and woke up quickly cos of a sharp pain in my side and when i went to get up i thought i was about to faint and i just couldn't breathe and i was covered in sweat. All day i've been thinking something is wrong with my heart and my chest is feeling tight and my left arm is feeling weak, im so scared. I have two young children and im just a wreak! Some words of comfort would be great right now please.

Why don't you take a trip to the er just to rule out anything serious..I've been thru this myself...they will do a quick ekg and chest xray to make sure its nothing serious..and if its anxiety they can give you an ativan or something, it'll help.
