Hey all. I just got back from my first psychiatrist appt. I have been seeing a counselor for a few months who had diagnosed me with depression and anxiety. When I brought it up, she didn't think I had OCD. The psychiatrist does think I have OCD.
Even though I am starting to feel a little better on my 3 week of paxil, she already wants me to bump up the dose. I'm afraid that I'm going to end up stuck on this forever and have issues coming off. I'm thinking about keeping my dose the same despite her recommendation. I want to get through this on the lowest dose possible.
Not sure what to do. All I can find about people coming off is horror stories.
