Hello. Just popping in to have a look around.

I am a guy in my late 30's, and I have had trouble with anxiety for many years. About two years ago I recognized I was having pretty serious problems and sought help.

I have some sort of anxiety problems but I am not sure what they are, medically speaking. I have been diagnosed with BPD and dysthymia but not a specific anxiety disorder. I suspect I may have one, since I am nervous most of the time.

I am inclined to isolate to a remarkable degree. Just stepping out here and posting this is a bit difficult. I sort of remember what the world outside my house looks like, but only vaguely. That is an exaggeration, but not by much.

I have been through DBT skills classes and individual therapy, and I am currently on Cymbalta and Klonopin. I am doing better than I have done in a long while, and I hope to keep improving.

I would certainly have a look in the agraphobia forum, many anxiety sufferers isolate themselves from people and the triggers of their anxiety you are not alone. But a label is not always helpful most Anxiety Sufferers are a mixture in different amounts of GAD, Agrophobia, SAD, Hypochondria and Depression with Obsessive Complusive tendencies.
