I never blame myself when I'm not hitting. I just blame the bat and if it keeps up, I change bats. After all, if I know it isn't my fault that I'm not hitting, how can I get mad at myself?

Just to reiterate: anyone feeling suicidal needs to go to a hospital. And if you're a friend or relative of someone who's suicidal, do the best you can to get them the help they need. They need to go to a hospital.

Been hospital twice for OD's. They just got me in, pumped me with IV fluids and 3 days later, sent me on my way with no follow up.

Yes, I agree that it is terrible that you guys were discharged with no plan for folowup. This makes me furious. However, for the sake of others reading this thread, don't forget that you may well not had survived at all if you hadn't gone to the ER. Let's not discourage people from getting the emergency help they need.

I think there is lots of improvements that can be made with the NHS once ur admitted for a od then ur sent home and the next step is to see a psychiatrist witch takes about 4 months and ur left dealing with ur mental health witch u r then left to ur own divides and for me my mental health gets worse then ur back in again with an od disappointing service
